Sandboxie not as good with Windows 7 64x?

    That's the impression I got reading sandboxies info about the windows 7 64bit version. Since upgrading to a windows 7 64x notebook I've been reloading my system with security software.

    Yes, some small issues when using it under 64bit (let say no issue on 32bit). Still very good though

    Better than no sandboxie ok? Also show me malware bypass sandboxie on 64-bit. Bet you find none ok!

    Nice to know its still potent anyway. Will be adding it shortly.

    It's worth noting that any security software that works by hooking the 32 bit kernel is not going to be able to get the same leverage in 64 bit Windows because of "Patch Guard" (which prevents hooking). Tzuk has talked openly about this issue and how it effects SandboxIE specifically. Search Wilders for his comments.
