Hi, If I understand correctly what you are talking about is often referred to as dual booting. This is very possible and there are many guides on doing it. Both installations of Windows are separate. This means that settings/programs installed on your Windows XP selection will not automatically be installed on the Windows 7 installation. You will need to install Smart Security on both Windows installations. You will only need one license as only one copy of Smart Security will be running at a time. The computer will work fine with this setting and it is fairly common for one computer to have two or more operating systems. More information about dual booting can be found on the following link: http://www.techspot.com/guides/143-dual-boot-windows7/
Eset-KB, Point (3) http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2393 PS installing win7 over xp is not possible - as there exist no upgrade installation! Win7 will install from scratch and old win moves to c:\windows.old (dual boot is a another option)
