    No, I did try Immunet Protect 1 a while ago and I didn't like that one at all, I don't know how much has changed.

    But I have tried everything just for fun, since my ESET license lasts another year:
    - AVG Free 9.0, I did quite like it, really nothing wrong with it, it just needs the full antirootkit (I personall don't need it because of 64-bit, but it is the most major drawback), but I really think AVG Free 10 will be back as the king of free antiviruses;
    - Avira Personal 10, totally disliked it, just like I always have;
    - avast! 5 Free, really nothing wrong with it, good option, but it ain't my favourite;
    - Microsoft Security Essentials, my favourite freebie: easy to use, perfect Windows 7 integraton, light, best interface of all antiviruses, but it needs to improve it's update system, and also it's detection has to be improved a little;
    - Panda Cloud Antivirus Free, version 1.1 is really a huge step forward, but it ain't my favourite freebie, also I totally dislike the ugly interface: it's simplicity is nice, but the graphics look unprofessional and low quality (especially the close/minimize buttons)
    - Comodo Internet Security 4, I don't like the concept of HIPS and I don't feel like I need it, since my behavior is not risky. The antivirus alone is not an option since it totally sucks;
    - PC Tools Antivirus Free 7, totally sucks;
    - G Data AntiVirus 2011, great detection, in contrary to avast! and Avira the behavior blocker actually works and is really a step forward, it has a nice GUI, but it is still slow and heavy;
    - Norton AntiVirus 2011, I have to admit I always have been a Norton bashers, but the last years it really is good, and 2011 is great. But I still don't like the company Symantec behind it. But next to ESET NOD32 it is the only one I might pay for;
    - Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010, around 2006 I was a Kaspersky fan, but not anymore;
    - McAfee VirusScan Plus 2010, to my surprise I didn't dislike it, but it still ain't worth buying;
    - BitDefender Antivirus 2010, it's detection ain't bad, but it totally sucks.

    The testing ended up with liking ESET NOD32 most so I really can't believe Immunet 2 will change that, maybe PrevX full (without SafeOnline ofcourse, don't like things with intercept with my browser) can change it, but PrevX has quite some false positives (I know because I have Hitman Pro and of all it's FP's PrevX is the source).

    Hi everyone.
    I used to have a ton of security software but lately i started to trim it down. It went from paid apps to freeware, from multi layers and multi apps to "as minimalistic as possible".

    Now i changed my security a bit and removed almost all the previous apps. In use:
    - XP limited user account
    - Firefox (privacy browsing, adblock, noscript, betterprivacy, cookiekiller)
    - Comodo internet security

    But then i realized that i got nothing on PC that would be missed if something went wrong (even if disk crashed). I got no photos, no documents, no music, no videos, no games. All i use PC for is Firefox-ing and notepad-ing. I don't have paypal or ebay account, no passwords are ever used, except for mail (there are no contacts in it) and forums, for what i don't care that much, new account can easily be opened. I surf mostly on "good" sites so don't care if everyone can shoulder-surf with me (if you want to know, i'll tell you:)
    So now i am going for setup that is as light as possible but has enough security for preventing badcodes to cloge the machine, so surfing can be done and i wouldn't need to reinstal OS every time. Perhaps i will go for xpud linux on USB (it looks like google OS, just with firefox)

    added sandboxie again i plan to run a sandbox program from now on it is very risky to just depend on anitivirus/antispyware/firewall only:) malware is getting very smart every day:D
    note:i tested alot of malware and the programs that really blocks malware are sandbox/virtualization apps:)

    After trialing numerous products this is my final setup :

    CIS 4.1 Premium (firewall only, no D+, no AV)
    Avast 5 Free

    Really great combo, and altough I can use several paid products (already have licenses), to my suprise both of this products are free :)
