    Hi,

Its for D+, to be protected againts those 2 tests go to Defense+ Menu then open My Protected Files > Add > Search > and copy paste \Device\Usb#Vid* in the bar and confirm.

Then again in Defense+ Menu open My Protected COM Interfaces and do the same thing as before but copy \RPC Control\AudioSrv in the bar.

One new line must be added at the end, test again with antitest.exe for me it works, I get a alert for the Webcam acces and the Sound acces too. :)

People should complain about problems(bugs, features, vulnerabilities etc) relevant to the software in question, rather than just bashing the company without any technical arguments or anything concrete.

Otherwise the criticisms are not constructive at all and thus they neither contribute anything to the thread nor do they help the company to improve its software.

Speaking of which... Norton DNS is doing a very good job for me in blocking new threats, even if it's indeed from MDL. The trojan I tested for other reasons than testing Norton DNS specifically was hours old, not even a day. Personally I was impressed, even if MDL can not be taken as a reliable source for testing all the time, obviously. FYI I test on MDL to test functionality and of course not effectiveness, so consider this a fun-fact about a service from a big security company which is indeed crawling A LOT of websites all the time in the hunt for malware. :D

Well it seems to have improved for me.The previous version had an annoying habit of 'forgetting' that I'd told it to always run a particular program outside of the sandbox whereas this hasn't happened as yet with the update.

So you agree with Night Raven that: "
    "

Is that what you are agreeing with? Are you advocating murder here? Does Comodo deserve to be shot like he or she said? In that sense I would like for the administrators of that site to close that thread for it has gone too far. I would also beseech the adminstrators to take a closer look at people such as Night Raven who are blatantly advocating the destruction of Comodo and hayc59 who gave his or her tacit support. This is beyond the scope of free speech or computer security discussions.

In fairness I think that Comodo should be made aware of such threat; because one can never take a threat lightly. One can say that person is such a kidder, until that person makes good on his or her threat, then it is too late. PLEASE WILDERS SECURITY ADMINISTRATORS DO YOUR JOB.

    Thanks.

I was hoping to avoid further posts in this topic as it is rather full of Comodo fanboys/fanatics but it seems I have to clear things.

My post was a response to blacknight's post which was the following:
I've bolded the important word. I'm quoting it as well just in case he changes it to make me look bad.
I used his word, that's why I put it in quotation marks. Nobody was talking about murder. Geez, how touchy can some people get.

The mean of " shoot " in my post was clearly metaphoric. Stop. I don't want that my post are (ab)used by other. Stop.

How did you knew that? xD Thanks Yanix and Einsturzende for the solution.
The only problem is that if you try to do the test of the web cam after block the sound test does not appear any popup (and viceversa), but ayway seems that the second test cant run.

There is any way to do the same with the screen capture?

Sir, I'm not putting words into your mouth, you clearly said in no uncertain term that: "Comodo is a company that deserves to be shot", your words. My reaction to your words, is beyond fanboy since your words border criminality and I will not ignore them whether you like it or not.

    Thanks.

I found a few cases of the Sandbox not remembering my selections. For instance every time I boot it asks me if I want to run Dropbox in the sandbox, and even though I keep selection no and remember my answer, it still asks on the next boot. I have uninstall the program due to there still being too many pop-ups.

I have some alerts, block them
    alert1.png alert2.png

but webcam is captured with sandbox enabled (is dark here, I'm ready to sleep :D )

Without sandbox I have more alerts, block them and webcam is not captured.

It is about the right thing. One cannot advocate violence and murder and for me to stay silence. It is simple, I will not. Moreover, it is not a private conversation. The Admins of Wilders must intervene and do something.

    Thanks.

You do have to factor in the right of free speech and issues of censorship.
Doubt that's enough of a reason to delete a post without the user's permission.

Also, he did not necessarily advocate violence or murder. Not everyone had a good experience with Comodo.
He simply stated his opinion, which does have a ring of truth in it.

Censorship is beyond the point. No one has the right to threaten someone with death and turn around and call that free speech. Your statement, with all due respect is abhorrent.

    Thanks.

Any way Cis firewall is free and nice. I not so sure about sandbox. I dont use any it but I not bias like many here. Call like I see. Ok? I like how Wilder like online armor and Ilya.
