Immunet Protect 2.0 Pre-Release Testing

I had the same problem at the begining but now I have the trial, so its working.

It's a 7 days trial key (read the email again), its normal

 

Deselected the Ask toolbar during the install; it still loaded it

I put in my key and it then downloaded about 75 MB of files; signatures?

 

Are you sure you unchecked all 3 options(Immunet toolbar, Ask default search engine, Ask default homepage.) It should have been fixed already, and there was someone who still got the toolbar but in the end he didn't uncheck Immunet toolbar because he read too fast and it doesn't say Ask toolbar so it's easy to overlook.

Yes, the downloaded files are the signatures for the offline Tetra engine which is Pro version only.

 

I am facing the same problem

 

uninstall, download the latest version and on the install use the key. This is what I did and it worked.

 

Tried many times but still same issue

 

Also did the same thing to no avail.

 

Guys, read the Immunet beta forum, you can get a new key by mailing Alfred on alfred at immunet dot com

 

Full Scan with all 3 engines is slow; much slower than KAV, PCAV, Avast on this machine and probably on par with Dr Web's slow scanner. Further after scanning, main Window still states that "Last scanned" Never!

On the plus side, there was only 1 FP picked up ( the other threat detection shown was the Eicar test file) and CPU usage was not excessive as I could still browse quickly during the scan. In addition, I had selected "ask me" for detection of malware/suspicious files but it quarantined them without any popups!

Maybe in the future a scan bar and a setting to switch off the computer when the scan has finished.

 

I got mine to register. I also have the Last Scan: Never bug.

The scan time isnt fully optimized yet, it should be faster in the future.

After completing Flash Scan, i hit Close button and then again i hit FIX-IT Button, but i saw that Flash Scan window is still running but its not showing any kind of information there... i again closed it and again hit FIX-IT but still Flash Scan window pop up ...I guess there is some problem?

I managed to create one. I did it on an earlier build though.

Allow me to congratulate for this anti-virus. I actually only came upon it, while at ClamAV official site.

I was wondering why the alienation from the O.S user interface? Personally - and I believe a lot of people also have this same view -, a software application shouldn't deviate from the O.S U.I; they should rather follow it.

I always tend, and I do know a lot of people who also do, not to install any software application that does not follow the O.S U.I.

Have you guys felt the need to do as you did it?

Please, don't consider this any sort of rudeness. Just wondering why some software developers keep on alienating from the O.S.

It is our graphic team which decide how the skin should look. I am not sure why it look like this but I find it pretty.

And the skin is only made out of what they find pretty, of course we may not copy others so they found their own style.
