It would be a great IDEA, :p

BTW VIPRE and F-Secure icons are pretty much same...In VIPRE snake is inside the triangle cage, and in f-secure Snake is outside the triangle cage..Why? Because it has some distance between its bars..:p :p

I think the tray icon of Avira is the most beautiful. But the newest icon I think can't emit powerful charm.

HMP has a very good tray icon, very colourful.

Prevx 3.0's is ok, but preferred the old traffic lights of P2.

    for all the rest:

I like Nod32, Avast 5, Drweb 6 and PCAV's little panda head aswell.

i think as a graphic designer the best feel of security and minimal design has the icon of avira antivir very strong minimal symbol of safety in red strong color
rising also has the umbrella but no so good minimal design and color maybe must use the lion one.....

well, i dont like that one at all.

looks cheap, and who wants an umbrella in their taskbar? i certainly wouldn't lol.

also, Red isnt the colour of safety where im from, green is.

This would be the best VIPRE tray Icon! Capture26-05-2010-6.37.30 PM.jpg Not the Blue V! Capture26-05-2010-6.39.34 PM.jpg V for Visitors the series

id say Emsisoft Antimalware has the best icon (or A2 as most call it) and Zemana's is pretty nice as well.
