Good Evening ! Currently running G-Data 2011 Security Suite & Prevx 3.0 with Safe Online...both apps Real Time with Firewall on G-Data set at High Security Level. G-Data has three months remaining so I thought it would be opportune to try 2011. It runs noticeably lighter; but after running an initial scan the scan time was lengthy, but G-Data uses digital fingerprinting and the scan time on subsequent scans will supposedly be shorter in duration. If it impresses enough I will consider renewing it, otherwise I'm also looking at Anti-Vir Premium,Version 10. Sincerely...Securon

Just OA premium, emsisoft 5 and geswall. I haven't changed my sig yet. :) I'm not sold on OA premium and EAM running together. EAM seems to be a little buggy still.

I'm pretty sure my words won't mean much to you, but here goes.
OS X does have a malware problem and if you think Macs don't need AVs you may wanna pay a visit to the Intego Blog if nowhere else.
As far as OS X and Win 7 well I've had both for some time now and I only boot into Snow Leopard once every blue moon or so.
I believe the saying is to each their own.
    Cheers.

Alcyon moves to Unix. A great security approach.
I too have made a switch to Linux.

Instead of wondering if I have been infected I can spend more time learning about computer stuff, at my own pace of course.

    P.S.
Mudras are just a bunch of useless fingerpointing.

Thanks for the info... It's just my sixth day with Snow Leopard.
I'll probably install Win7 on another partition... Don't worry ;)

Have you tried this one? http://www.masterwu.net/article_pure_yang_mudra.htm
Anyway, this is not really the place to talk about Mudras.

Seriously, at the moment, Immunet 2.0 is broken as it's being tested! Wait at least a month until the final release is out. They're going to tweak so many things with it that it'll basically be an entirely new program when it's done.

hey konata, i use hitman pro, but i noticed that it only scans the most important parts of your computer. how do i make it so it does a full scan like a squared's deep scan, or mbam's full scan? thx in advance

I also noticed that too and I don't know how to do a deep/full scan. :'(
it may be possible by manually adding all folder locations in the shortcut.... but heck that would be alot of work
