Doesn't look worthwhile. Let us know if you try it.

For me, the only really important extension is Session Manager.

Every must have extension for me has already been mentioned plus a few more I have picked up. Although this is not a must have extension it is one that I find useful especially when a bunch of tabs are open.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6132 Tab Preview lets you preview tab contents on mouseover.

That looks interesting. But what does it actually *do*? And: What's the advantage over good old config.trim_on_minimize?

I wonder if it does more than you can get with Noscript and Adblock Plus. Noscript blocks Googleanalytics, Doubleclicks and the likes, and the ABP filters do the rest. And I block cookies by default, of course, with Cookie Monster and allow them only for selected sites. Google doesn't belong to them :D These measures should definitely be sufficient.

    Ghostery 2.0.3 available today:

    http://www.ghostery.com

Hope it doesn't have any problems like those seen before with FF 3.5.7

Dermot7, according to Ghostery News, the bug has been fixed, but its new association with Better Advertising might raise some eyebrows.

Thanks for this info JRVlejo......phrases like "cross industry monitoring tools" in
Ghostery News worry me. Could be a case of 'let us track you and harvest your data rather than someone else'? Thanks.

Memory Fox contains a tricky malware: AFOM.exe(C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\l84t8ef9.default\extensions\{E173B749-DB5B-4fd2-BA0E-94ECEA0CA55B}), not yet detected by most AVs except PrevX and HitMan Pro.... Be careful! It keeps on logging into an unknown server even if FF is shut down. It prevents Scheduled AV scan to do its job on my system. I removed it.

    Cheers,
    Herve

    Hide Google Options.

It now has support for all worldwide Google search properties.

i think AFOM.exe is the author of Memory Fox's earlier attempt to fix the memory problems in Firefox....its a related extension/add-on iirc...
