I might add Panda Cloud to my setup, very light and overall good protection.
Specially since i only have A-Squared :p (On execution so no real slowdowns)

Anyone using Panda Cloud Antivirus included with DefenseWall and PrevX? Any problems observed?

Theoretically there shouldn't be at least. Prevx and DW are made to work with others and should certainly do with PCAV since it's been around for a while.

Would be better off with gray though instead of silver to make it more friendly to the eyes and more visible. :D

I guess the real question in that case is how much that BB will add in terms of protection.

I assume it will be a TruePrevent light - it could be better than Avast or Avira BB :)

    @Brocke: wix.com? :D

I wish it was possible to run Panda Cloud Antivirus against a huge amount of malware samples to test its efficiency.

You can do this no problem, but i would follow these recommendations:
1- activate advanced logging for better processing of logs.
2- split the testbed into multiple directories with less files.

This is only recommended if you really are testing huge amounts of files. Testing labs normally do it like this while testing av products.

I do not have any access to malware samples. What I meant was that I'd be happy to see AV-C or AV-Test run a test on the product to see its efficiency. :)

    shadek,

You can find malware samples on Malware Domain List. The newest zero-days for personal testing.

So, I thought let's try Panda Cloud Antivirus, it always have been quite appealing to me.
I normally use: ESET NOD32 Antivirus + Hitman Pro 3.5, but I thought that combination was getting a little expensive. So I thought (I think a lot xD) Panda Cloud + Hitman Pro would make the perfect combination (as long as Panda doesn't join Hitman Pro cloud).

So I downloaded Cloud Antivirus: installation was fine, browsed around the user interface for some time (eh, like 2 seconds), did download Eicar test file. All went perfectly fine. I check system resource usage. And I really started to like afther like these three minutes.
So I thought let's do a Quick Scan: and guess what it found a virus, something ESET and Hitman Pro never encountered. And guess what it was a False Positive. It was a file from my laptop OEM, and it had to do with startup items/drivers/etc. Tried to reset it (it wasn't in the Removed Bin/Quarantaine) it in the event log. But it didn't really do this good.
So I restarted my laptop, and oh yes: 3 errors. Looked after the problem through Windows Explorer and Panda Cloud, but I couldn't fix it.
God bless, Windows System Restore Points, it always works for me (against really thorough viruses 2 times) and so it did now. Only it did totally restore my ESET (Repair installation did easily fix this) and there were a lot of leftovers of Panda Cloud (Panda Cloud Uninstaller and manual registry and file/map cleaning fixed this).

I guess I just continue using my ESET license. I was really looking forward to Panda Cloud 1.1, but I am a little scared now, even though 1.1 might solve all the issues I encountered.

EDIT: Uploaded to VirusTotal, out of the 40 scanners only Panda detected it: Panda : Trj/Deldir.A. Unlucky me with trying different apps :(. I will submit it as a false positive.

Panda Cloud AV has a lot of FP - it detected a MP3 a few days ago as a trojan  I don't recommend it to a newbie.

Idd. And they answered my mail with the false positive. Saying it is fixed in a beta signature file: and that I can download it, PAV.SIG or something. But what the **** I have to do with (beta) signature files if I clearly stated I am using Cloud Antivirus xD.

The emails for Panda Cloud AV and the emails for all PAV pro products are the same. So the beta sig's won't work with PCAV but for everyone having issue with PAV pro they can use them. I can't remember if that was going to be changed but I maybe I will suggest that we get a note saying: Download these sig's for the PAV pro product if you are using PCAV the FP will be corrected soon?

Is Prevx compatible with Panda Cloud Antivirus?
