Based on your screenshot it is not the current build.
The Spanish site http://descargas.eset.es/ lists NOD32 AV as build 4.2.40 I hope this clarifies things for you.

some build numbers depend on the translated language - so it is possible as long eset support do not deny it.

otherwise check the digital signature of the MSI file - should be valid from eset!

I think we'll waiting for CivilTaz to clarify whether he/she's using a full or trial version. By the way, don't expect ESET moderators to sit by the computer permanently during weekends :)

This expiry date in the snapshot in his first post says 11/09/2010 so that would tell me he's using the full version, but from where did he get it from?

i ve got the feedback that the demo has this build number, not the final.
so i assume it might a different (newer) signature database
    (beside the different code demo<>full)

from the full (german) and today

If and until ESET says differently, I would go by this post.

You need to know if the 4.2.42 version ....... is a commercial or official version of evidence and because they are on other sites, not ESET.

    Thanks

Good point. Personally, I wouldn't download ESET software from any other site but ESET or a partner reseller.

    I don't quite get it. o_O

This is a simple enough question for ESET to clarify if 4.2.42 is officially from them or not. An ESET Mod can just post here to tell us all 4.2.42 is fake or something. Their keeping mum shows their indifference to our many queries here.:thumbd:

I agree with you Ron that is the Best Advice! Also you need your License information to download the commercial version anyways! :thumb: But I did find that the Trial for the English Version is 4.2.42.0 as I did download it today from eset.com

    Cheers,

    TH
