ESET Free Home Solution!!!

Why doesn't ESET offer a free home version like the rest of some of the more popular antivirus companies?

Avast, Avira, Comodo, Microsoft Security Essentials and AVG offer free home editions of there products at no cost to the consumer. My question is, why would people continue to pay for antivirus protection when they don't have to! There are better alternatives out there absolutely free!

I used Nod32 for many years until I realized I didn't have to actually pay money to get the protection I needed when the same protection is offered for free.

Please think about joining the rest and offering a free home solution. If you truly care about your customers you will stop charging them for it!!

Would Norton, McAfee, Sophos, Kaspersky also gain reputation in similar way? Eset should consider doing it for sure then

 

It's not a debate. What I posted is in the my best intentions and interest of some users here and a valid question. Your Ignorance only shows your misconception of my original statement to begin with.

If you are happy with a better free A-V, terrific! There's no reason to bash Cudni.

Personally, I have paid subscriptions of NOD32 as the anti-virus on my boxes. It is updated several times a day, has a small footprint, and does a very good job. It costs me about 30 Grande Starbucks Pike Place regular black coffees for two years of protection, a very reasonable price IMO.
