I used to use a hash calculating program called hashonclick by 2brightsparks. Unfortunately the website doesnt mention if it is compatible with win 7 (Vista, XP, etc are mentioned as being compatible). I was wondering if anyone has used this program on win 7 and if they had any compatibility issues. Is the program just incompatible with win 7 or have the developers just failed to update the site?

If it works on Vista, it should work fine on 7 i can't see anything with it that would break between the OS's.

    Otherwise i propose HashTab

It has about 15 selectable hashing types, can do hash compares, integrates in to the file properties menu via the shell so it has no running processes and works fine on 7. Actually the author has posted here on Wilders before.
