Prevx safeonline, Trusteer Rapport and Keyscrambler?

Which of these should I use, and why, to protect my shopping/banking sessions? Do you guys suggest any combo of these? Thanks.

 

On this test http://malwareresearchgroup.com/?page_id=2 (open pdf file) it seems Prevx Safeonline is the winner.

I think that i am very well protected against keylogger etc.......

 

PrevX Safebanking freebie from Facebook is the one offering more compleet protection, both from a technical as from a usage point of view.

The technical difference (e.g. Trusteer + Keyscrambler free) of protected sites is not that much when you have UAC activated for instance or run limited user.
The usage difference is more obvious. Especially the keylogging detection of all HTTPS traffic is protected by PrevX. It also applies some safety checks (which everybode can set through the registry but no one does) as SSL etc.

On my XP Pro (with only OS based security and Clam/Immunet only checking at installs), I prefer Trusteer+Keyscrambler, because I get some lag when typing internet addresses when using PrevX safe online. When PrevX Safe online does not lag/delay typing, my first choice would be PrevX safe Online

Do all of these products work well in LUA? Do any of these products conflict with sbie? I know from past experience that Keyscrambler works with sbie while an older thread on wilders mentioned that safeonline doesnt. What about Trusteer Rapport? Does it play well with sbie?

 

Safeonline works fine with lua and sbie.

 

Well, in fact SafeOnline doesn't work w/ Sandboxie at all... (i.e., NOT with sandboxed browser). The browser won't even launch when you force it to be sandboxed. Reference thread on SBIE support forum. (No, the screenreader hack doesn't help either here w/ latest SBIE beta).

Personally, I'd use Prevx SafeOnline with KeyScrambler, but I don't use SBIE - so I don't know if there's any conflict.

In the past, I have used Trusteer Rapport.
If you download it from their website, you are limited to only protect a certain amount of websites. However, if you grab the copy from a Banking website (i.e. Natwest), you can add more websites to the the protection list.

I must note, when I used Rapport I found it to quite heavy on the RAM usage. Being me, I didn't like it, so I removed it.

Just explaining my experience with it.

 

Is that really necessary? It seems from Kees explanation that safeonline already provides the protection offered by keyscrambler. In such a scenario I wouldnt use them together as any conflict may reduce the effectiveness of both products.

Yes.
From Prevx help:

 

The default configuration for HTTP websites is Low, which means it does NOT protect against keyloggers on HTTP websites with default settings. To get keylogger protection, the security configuration must be Medium or higher.
