Can the license be used with Home Classic if we prefer Home Classic? The virus guard in Home Lux will interfere with my current AV.

you people are doing wonders, everyone who knows about virtulizations knows the importance of this program. I'll appreciate to use it this time because I failed to get it during the last giveaway.

Thank you for this great giveaway.

    Hello AvinashR,
The License Number takes effect on the date it is registered

    Hi whitedragon551,
It is fully compatible with 64 bit. Using it exclusively on a new HP Touchscreen (Win 7 Pro 64 bit) here in the office and have not had issue one...

    Hi Mike,

Registered means when it was entered in the software or when it was generated through wilders link? And can we use this license key on Home Classic too?

The License is for Home Lux so will include the Virus Guard component. I have an inquiry into the Licensing team to determine whether this can be done in specific cases. In the interim, you can simply deactivate the VG component (see the RVS forum sections for detailed instructions on what to turn off in the program.

As for when the License takes effect, it does so when it is registered with the License server (after submitting the registration from the GUI).

Thanks for the same...I hope you allow us to use the license key for Home Classic. Secondly, can you please let me know whether VirusGuard is present in Home Classic version or is it disabled by default in that version?

The installer is universal. Actual features available in the client are determined by the properties of the associated License Number at the server. IOW - the server dictates what the LN will unlock within the client program.

    Hi kasperking,
Yes, but you will need to turn RVS System Safe off for RBRX to perform its functions. IOW - turn the RVS virtualization off before attempting to create a snapshot/restore image with RollBack.

RVS System Safe will terminate an attempt by Windows or a third party program from creating restore points and images when running to ensure that there is no damage to important system files.

OK, but keep in mind what RVS is designed to do: Keep the real system static and thus free from infection over time. Unless you deliberately save content to your real disk, that disk will not change and as a result, no need to update an existing backup set or image/snapshot as there will be nothing to change.

When a change is made however, then a restore point or image/snapshot makes sense. In practical terms, you can declare a maintenance day and complete program upgrades, MS patches/updates, and update your backup/image sets accordingly...

Wow. Just wow. This is quite the coincidence. I was waiting for Friday and I was going to purchase a license for Returnil. Thanks for saving me the money. Just curious; would this license work for the Home Classic version?
