It's definitely released as it's on the Avira website and my SMC has downloaded the v10 update package direct from Avira.

you're talking about the professional version. they were released this morning.
but this topic is about the personal versions and they aren't.
For the official release please wait a few hours and the personal versions will be available too.

I still see Antivir 9 Premium on their website and no major update in the central time zone in America. :(

Does the thread title say anything about this being a discussion of Personal version only?

That's friggen ridiculous. Why would you limit the functionality of a 64-bit program in this day and age? Everyone I know uses 64-bit Windows now.

This is not a beta version. This is the final version and it can be installed on Windows 2000 SP4 UR1, Windows XP SP2 (32 Bit or 64 Bit), Windows Vista (32 Bit or 64 Bit) SP1, Windows 7 (32 Bit or 64 Bit).

ProActive technology is not yet available for 64 bit systems! Windows 2000 does not support ProActive components.

Installed it (Premium) without any problems on my Vista32 Ultimate. Pro-Active module doesn't seem to have any impact on my system, actually it seems faster than V9.

Have a look here for AntiVir Premium and Avira Premium Security Suite (which both include ProActiv) 30 days trial, or here for AntiVir Professional 30 days trial.
