For some reason I can't post on the Comodo forum. Keeps telling me I posted less than 1 second ago. Does anyone know if they're going to fix the conflict with WLM and CIS on 64 bit that refuses to let WLM minimize to the tray?

Wow. It appears that comodo 4 has improved the AV engine. It blocked just about every thing that was thrown at it. I don't even think defense+ needed to send an alert up. Whats the latest on AV comp or some other testing site checking it out?

Many malicious links in that video are automatically dropped, Comodo DNS servers in action?

yeah that could be. Or the links were just dead. which is normal for malicious links. Servers and websites don't like trojans and such on their site.

Heck once they get some of the bugs out, I might actually switch firewall.

Right now I'm only using Firewall with Defense+
Question : If I install AV are there any noticable slowdowns, and do I really need sandboxie (because as I understood that is the only weak spot of this suite)
Would it be OK if I disable Sandboxie with this combo ?

You ask the same thing that I also would to know, and I ask it specially those tested Comodo 4: the HIPS/fw with the sandbox disabled blocks completely the rogues that bypass the sandbox ( when itwas enabled ) ?

Does someone know how to give keyboard access to a sandboxed program? In my case it prevents Windows live messenger capturing any keys so I can't login.

This review is much better then previous one linked few posts before.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZdgDtV9pwI

Seems like with everything installed it uses only 16mb of memory.

Since nobody wants to answer questions from before about AV and Sandboxie ... what I'm going to do now is install it FULL and try it for a while, even with sandboxie. Then I'll decide based on sandboxie behaviour should I disabled it or leave it.
As for AV if there are no noticable slowdowns I'm leaving it enabled.

I use CIS for a long time but I'm new with this sandbox thing.
I've just reinstalled CIS and added Antivirus.
One question bothers me : Why is Sandbox security level DISABLED by default.
Is that what you mean by automatic sandbox ?

Anyhow, should I leave it Disabled or it needs to be always Enabled ?

    Thank You.

OK, I have it setup like this :
    Antivirus - Stateful
    Firewall - Custom Policy Mode
    Defense+ - Safe Mode
    Sandbox - Enabled

So far, everything is cool :)

I use the full Comodo IS too and it's very nice. In my PC sandbox was on from the start, no problem. The whole combo is very tight and light ;)

    Looks very good.

I tried the firewall and it works great just one little problem, it won't start automatically on my comp, hp 8530w notebok with W7 x64 Ultimate.

I was trying out comodo 4 and ran a rogue called antispyware 7 or something like that. Defense + asked me to allow or block because it wanted to run elevated privalages so I said allow and got infected with the rogue. But shouldn't it have been sanboxed? Isn't unknown software supposed to be sandboxed? I checked in the sandbox settings for currently running programs in sandbox and it wasn't there it actually was let installed in the system.
