I get blue screen also, only concerning nv4 driver or such, stopped NV from loading, still bluescreens, black screens, freezes, fits, stopped loading Zemana and it has to go. Thought I'd post this first in case Zem takes the rest of my computer with it on it's way out.:cautious:

OK, i got a chuckle from the uninstall splash graciously offering me one last chance to purchace. I don't know how much of a mess this has left behind, I'm still trying to get rid of Rising remnants without restoring every few minutes :doubt: . I did notice that when i dl'd from Zem site I only had option to run, but when i clicked link in History I got save option too. Which I did, just in case I get to play later. Cheers.

    Hi Folks,

My system is XP and installed fine and I am only thinking of this as an auxiliary, overlap protection. And I understand the Windows 7 and 64-bit concerns.

What makes it a keeper for now is the very excellent log file and the informative messages. CleanMem was said to do "Physical Memory Access" which makes sense and another program "Code Injector".

The program does seem well designed.

    Shalom,
    Steven

    Hi Folks,

    An interesting Zemana experience.

paltalk.exe is trying to capture your screen. Do not click Allow unless this is a legitimate application.
    Application PaftalkScene
    Component pattalk.exe (ctrlkey.dll)
Company (Unable to verify) AVM Software Inc.
    Activity : ScreenLogger (Type: 01)

Normally I would probably wink at this, since I run Paltalk all the time. They are in the midst of a DOS attack so I am especially interested. I blocked it for now, and can get the same message on any attempt to load Paltalk. Anyone know what would make a normally solid program look to Zemana as a "ScreenLogger" ? They have lots of advertising stuff that they are involved in, which I sometimes block with the hosts file.

Any ideas ? I know I can email Zemana and Paltalk, but since there is a lot of Zemana talk here now, I thought to bring it up here first.

    Shalom,
    Steven Avery

    Hi Folks,

Note: have emailed Zemana, will see if their 24-hour response is true to form !

Oh, I added the Steve Burns hphosts file (I like Steve from Web of Trust, clearly top-notch) and I do not think I get that message anymore. I did it because Paltalk was going back to some raunchy or annoying ads (one month they are ok, next month not, I do not mind pop-unders, even the famous Avira semi-scare-page is ok by me for humor, but I do mind obtrusive and annoying junque and what I consider sleaze ads). Hphosts added not for this reason of the "screenreader" -- and I think this also ended the "screenreader" problem (I was careful not to make a rule).

hmmmm - the concerns still exist, ultimately, what behaviour of an ad or paltalk.exe would prompt "screenreader". Granted functions often overlap, false positives abound, yet inquiring minds do like to know.

Zemana did not give me a support# with my report, nor an immediate email confirmation afaik. (Both are proper parts of support ticket structure). Else I would add this information for them. I like most the excellent forum-based support like Online Armor.

    Shalom,
    Steven Avery

I must learn to be silent.

Today in the morning I decided to install Zemana on my laptop with Vista Home Premium SP 2 32 bit.

I didin't have even to reboot since this is the result I got (see attached image please).
Apparently the BSOD was caused by a driver belonging to Perfect Disk pro 10 (which never caused me a problem)

    So, what should I think?
Zemana Antilogger looks a good software.. If I could use it
