    jmonge have you tried RegSeeker. It is free and I have used it now for several years with no problems. It backs up just in case. http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

    Cool, just worked out how to use the signature system. I see you using Malware Defender - powerful HIPS! I tried that a couple of times before. Not easy to use, but it's powerful just out of the box.

    Another first poster here!

    I'm currently running:
    Real time: Norton 360 Version: 4.0.0.127

    On demand: Malwarebytes, SAS

    Browser: Firefox 3.6

    OS: Desktop- XP SP3, Laptop- Vista SP2

    I received a 1yr subscription through the Vipre Antivirus Premium Twitter giveaway...and will be combining it on my laptop with Prevx 3.0

    This is a great site with a lot of knowledgeable posters!

    Switched it all to the Prevx SafeOnline (3.0.5.91) and the Online-Armor ++ (4.0.0.35) at the Windows 7 x64 platform. (All paid ones)

    I run OA++ and Sandboxie all the time. Excellent combo. :thumb:

    Actually Sandboxie is one of the most popular non-AV programs in use around here. Defensewall would be the second.

    but later im gonna install linux mint dual combo with my windows 7 well see how it goes

    I see. Not surprising, considering this is a Security Forum and you need to know what you're doing to use Sandboxie to its full capacity.

    DefenseWall is the type of program you install on your non-computer savvy partner's laptop!

    I think you will find a lot of computer savvy people are using DefenseWall because it is simple, reliable and effective.
