FRISK = FRIdrick SKulason. the company is named after the person. frisk is like his nickname.

exactly correct. peter norton, who said computer viruses were urban myths, like alligators in the sewers of new york.

And the "F" in F-Prot stands for "Frisk" -- the proponent company for F-prot.

They aren't, they are native to China period. And if you have ever seen a pissed off Panda, keep telling yourself they aren't "bad". Anyway, these companies need better names instead of just being the combined/first/last name of their head honcho. We need catchy names with cool logos :thumb:

Actually the word Panda in spanish is short for "pandilla" which means "small group of friends". When Panda started in the early 90's it was just a few friends getting together and starting a company :)

That is great but you are then associated with the Giant Panda - the animal . Your marking (especially in the past years) was all about the bear , your offices are full of panda teddy bears . When on exhibitions - the panda teddy bear is always in front . Your logo now , your avatar , your icon - it is all about the animal panda.

I am interested to understand. :thumb:

I thought Klingon Anti-Virus was a reasonably cool name.
    It was free from Sophos.
Still have a copy on one of my externals.
