    The only reason I have used adblockers in past was to save my limited bandwidth and continue to do so due to pesky porn pop ups which can be quite embarrassing in a family situation.

    I stand corrected on the DNS statement I made erroneously.
    A HOSTS File does protects the DNS cache regardless of Browser.
