I am really sorry coz i am sure this has been asked numerous times before, but im afraid my search skills are a bit below par.

I am using licensed Prevx 3.0.1.65 and theres a couple of things i really dont understand.

    1. Is Prevx Safeonline a totally new product or an upgrade to the version i am running?

    2. Can i install it on top of my "old" Prevx? Im running Win 7 x64

SafeOnline is both a totally new product and an upgrade to the version you're running :) It is a new product based on the old product which can be upgraded directly. You can upgrade from 3.0.1.65 to 3.0.5.85 by downloading the newest version from http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=prevxcsi64

Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

Does v3.0.5.85 still register itself as an antivirus and antispyware in Win 7's Action Center?

Sweet, thank you very much for answer!

EDIT: I noticed that SafeOnline works in Trial Mode, is that what it is supposed to do? If so, i guess i have to cough up some more dough to get it licensed?

Prevx will only integrate if you have a registered license - could you let me know if this is the case?

    Thanks!

SafeOnline provides partial functionality in trial mode, namely limiting configuration to specific websites and locking down the addition of other custom websites.

Yeah, i have a licensed version, at least the program say so :D

174 days left, Removal and Protection License with Prevx SafeOnline Trial Version. I will most likely add the SafeOnline Full Version later on, have to top up my Paypal account first :D

    Version 3.0.5.85

174 days looks like you may have first installed before we added the full Win7 support in the live version. Could you try uninstalling Prevx by clicking Start > Programs > Prevx 3.0 > Uninstall Prevx, then reboot, and then download the newest version from http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp and install it from there?

Let me know your results! :)

I suspect they haven't changed too much between Chrome v4.0 and 4.1, but last I checked, we do support Chrome v4 on 32bit at least.

Let me know what you find! :)

I have used Chrome 4.1 and am now playing with Chrome 5.0.342.3 beta seemingly without any problems on XP Home 32 bit.
