When did Avast become good?

    Have they fixed Ad Muncher and the speed issue (50% cut off from internet speed)? Cheers!

    I'm using Ad Muncher and Avast free without any degradation of speed..

    I am seeing no slow down in web browsing with web scanner working.

    Webshield does not work when Ad Muncher is installed.

    Technic: It does... you need only to add one line to webshield.ini

    Who! When did .460 become available? I have my updates set to Ask when an update becomes available, but haven't been notified. Seeing your post, I clicked update program, and Avast! updated to .462.
    Does anyone know what was in the updates? Thanks for the heads up. :)
