Very strange results indeed.:-* I threw a fresh trojan hiloti and its was deleted immediately. Surely the same in your list.
"There wasn't a peep out". Strange again. Because BPS its a anti-executable and if its doesn't recognize a threat he ask if you want to run it. In 4 days no nasty stuff... But maybe I'm lucky...:p

Well, apparently it is an issue with 64-bit. Regardless, most of the links I threw at it were .exe files and it said nothing.

64-bit. Maybe its the problem I can't tell. I'm 32-bit. Thanks for testing it though.

Did not turn out well for BPS. I mean related to cash.

First time when I wanted to test it, it constantly disabled itself.
I read in their forum that this was a known bug.
    Test finished without testing...

A few days ago I wanted to test the new version on another PC.
It told me, that my trial period is over. So I assume they have taken the IP range of my ISP for the first trial. o_O

But strange wise it worked, which I found out when it wanted to block a Windows system file. :p
Protection was turned of at the GUI and I was not able to select the Scan, but it showed even some prompts for malware.

It's a strange app, maybe it works better after payment, which I will most likely never find out...

    Cheers

I was not thrilled by BPS after this video http://www.youtube.com/user/mrizos#p/u/14/mg1_vcLzfSU
And I forget about it. But the new version its cool. Love the gui and detections of threats improved. No more 14 days trial but 30. No more cash ask after a scan. Just to be fair. After its your choice (extra cash:cool:) and personal taste.

I had a trial license which had expired. I contacted BPS via their live support and they immediately gave me a license for a further 31 days.

Yesterday I tried to unsubscribe from their newsletter.
Today I find out that it's undeliverable-the address doesn't exist.
It was "unsubscribe@bluepointsecurity.com" which was included with their newsletter.
Anybody have an address that works?

I tried out the latest version of BPS and after the initial scan it found some FP's but that wasn't my issue, shortly thereafter my OA ++ alerted that BPS was attempting to run is as it described a 'screen content recorder'. I blocked it ASAP. Now I don't know why in the hell that was triggered, but I uninstalled that shyt el pronto. NO security programs need to read my damn screen! What legitimate reason would BPS be doing that?
