As I found out LnS prevent loading java applets (embedded in HTML web pages).
At the place where the applet should appear on the web page a white frame is placed and the java console shows a classnotfound exception.

When I disable LnS the web page is loaded successfully.

So which rule do I have to change to allow loading Java Applets in web pages?

    In v2.0.6 ?

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

What do you mean exactly when you say “I disable LnS”? Do you mean that you’ve exited the Look ‘n’ Stop application?

The problem you describe sounds like it’s possibly coming from the DLL filtering, you may have one of java components blocked. However, I suppose if you had customized the ruleset, it could very well be the ‘Internet Filtering’ layer, did you try disabling Internet Filtering layer by unchecking ‘Internet filtering enabled’ on the bottom-right of the Look ‘n’ Stop - ‘Internet Filtering’ screen / TAB?

Meanwhile the problem is solved. I must have accidentially disabled one of the JRE rules entries. It works as before :)
