Looks like Vipre 4 will hit RTM on March 2, 2010
    http://supportforums.sunbeltsoftware.com/messageview.aspx?catid=23&threadid=3268&enterthread=y

So circle march 2 on your calendars and fire up your twitter accounts.

    Hi,

Want to find out what to write in the email?

Just indicate the Twitter username in the email header?

Someone from another forum did received an auto-reply message after sending the email, but I received none.

    Thanks.

It seems like an auto-reply acknowledging receipt of email (not talking about license distribution) , shouldn't it be instant?

depends how many emails theyre getting, so it may not be instant, as with other license give aways, they can take some time, look back at the last Zonealarm one that took quite a while.

Yeah, just tweeted also :) By the way the giveaway version doesn't include the firewall, right? I was hoping to play with the FW.

I'm worryed about the integration of VIPRE + Prevx, because in Vipre's FAQ we read:

"If you are running another antivirus product or firewall, DO NOT enable VIPRE's Active Protection. Doing so may result in significant performance issues. Uninstall other antivirus products and firewalls before you install VIPRE Antivirus Premium."

well its a standard warning not run two av/fw in real time....but prevx has an on execution scanning so it happily co-exists with other resident av/as..i think it would/should be okay with vipre too

I was wondering if you are required to have people following your twitter site to qualify for this? I have an account set up, following Sunbelt and posted their advertisement on my page. I really did this to get the free software and I have nobody of yet following my tweets or lack of. :D I just hope they aren't too picky on the details and disqualify me on technical grounds.

They should send them out today or tomorrow. Sort of the same deal with the Zonealarm offers. Wait, wait and more wait. I do that every night when I'm at work.
