Is there a way to monitor NOD32 business edition with third party tools such as Zenith InfoTech's SAAZ? This can be via the Windows Event Log or other method. I am wanting to consolidate events in one place instead of having to log into various customer networks to verify that there are no issues with NOD32.

So no one using NOD32 is using a managed services product such as Zenith Infotech, Kasaya, or others to monitor the status of the antivirus systems?

I don't know the products which you are referring to but basic monitoring (AV enabled and is up to date) is reported to Microsoft Security Center, like any other AV does. I guess those tools you mention can monitor that service and report it back.

Else you are 'stuck' (I guess you know about it) with ERA. A great administration/monitoring tool by ESET.

ERA works well for us, as it shows an instant picture of the status of all machines.

We monitor the ERA in LevelPlatforms' Managed Workplace via the Windows event logs the ERA can be set to report to.

So far I don't think there's any way to monitor the clients themselves in that fashion (there's no option to get them to report to the system event logs) which is lame since their email reporting settings also don't allow custom email ports (since we're monitoring multiple domains on different network our mail server port 25 is often blocked by the customers' ISPs), so it's pretty hard to get info from the clients directly.

    Hello,

In addition to LevelPlatforms' Managed Workplace product, you can also make use of OPSWAT's OESIS SDK to implement monitoring of ESET's software in an corporate or MSP environment. Stand by for additional announcements in the future about compatibility with other providers' offerings.

    Regards,

I am also interested in monitoring NOD32 with Zenith InfoTech's SAAZ. Any updates on this?
