INstalling NOD32 to cleints from a windows domain

Is it possible to use the msi utilising the software install feature of windows group policy, and include some kind of config so that the client can find the RA server?

At the moment I am using a log on script, but this seems very cumbersome for the task in hand (as it needs some way of ensuring that the install is only run once)

Also is there a web link to some kind of knowledge base article on the various ways to install to multiple clients?

In the ESET Remote Adminstration manual you can find unattended switches to use with the .MSI installers. There is also a small 'howto' push out clients with Group Policy.

If you need more help then explained in the manual I am able to help further if you have any more questions.

    /Edit:
Also the knowledge-base is available @ http://kb.eset.com/ - If you do some searching in there you can find some useful articles.

Make a share so the workstations can access the MSI file(s). Create a configuration XML you want to use for them, name it CFG.XML and stick it in that same folder. Any time there's a cfg.mxl in the same folder as the msi it'll try to use that.

There's not a whole lot to do beyond that. Just make a new package in the GP that points to the SHARE that holds that MSI (ie: pick it by \\server\pathtomsi\ and not via the local drive letters).
