Password Protection

Greetings
I would appreciate the help and experience of the forum. I do a lot of buying and banking online. I am currently using Zemana Antilogger (antikeylogger, antiscreenlogger, anticlipboardlogger) and Lastpass password manager. I am going to purchase a new laptop and will probably go with a 64 bit version of Windows.

Zemana is effective, but it does not support 64 bit versions of Windows. To look at their site; it doesn't appear they will any time in the future. I am happy with Lastpass, however a keylogger could grab my master password as I type it into Lastpass. Lastpass has secondary credentials (Sesame, Ubikey, etc), but they only work to get you into the vault. They do not word for opening specific sites once you are logged into Lastpass, which I think is a serious oversite.

Can you give me your experience and suggestions re a quality (doesn't have to be free) Password Manager that resists hijackers and if that doesn't exist; a quality Password Manager and an antikeylogging/screenlogging/clipboardlogging app that supports Win 64. The password manager doesn't have to be Lastpass, although notwithstanding the above limitations; it is effective.

I realize this is a mouthful, but you can be too careful forever. However it only takes being careless once to get hammered.

Prevention is better than the cure. Why would you need a antikeylogging when your PC should not be infected with a keylogger to begin with?

If you do a lot of netbanking, don't use that with your regular PC desktop. Create a dual boot for example where you install Linux for netbanking and then boot windows for everything else.

Then you can have peace of mind and security in Linux for all your banking and sensitive actions. And then you can do whatever you want in windows and not be too worried.

 

Perhaps a HIPS may be what you need? eg DefenseWall . Prevent the keylogger becoming embedded in the first place.

...or maybe something like Keyscrambler?

I'm also looking for a quality password manager/form filler, but perhaps these ^ tools will help bring some peace of mind in the meantime.

 

The way I look at it is... if I feel I need Keyscrambler because there is a possiblity that my PC has a keylogger, then I am not confident enough I can use that particular PC for netbanking.

Keyscrambler supports 64 bit. Additionally you could use a specific browser exclusively for banking, lock down the internet zone and put just the banking site(s) in the trusted zone.
