I am finding that Panda Cloud is performing really well against rogue sites.

Do you mean it's detecting those sites or the installers when downloaded from them? I only ask because I wasn't aware PCAV had HTTP scanning.

I think that there is a conflict, If they improve a lot Panda CLoud the people wont buy the paid version, so I suppose that they just want to have a free cloud AV in order to get more data (malware) from the users.

PCAV will only get better, trust me.;)

Does Aviras free make the paid worst.
Does Avast free make their paid worse.

Yep, Panda ActiveScan also has scanning from the cloud. Actually it was one of the first products where it was implemented.

Testing it again... apparently there's no one-button full scan anymore and it STILL detects Creative's Appsetup.exe as Virtumonde.

Is the cpu usage still high? Is the background scan heavy like a few months ago?

Doesn't look like it, but the I/O is high just because I did a quick scan.

To me, no to both questions. It is totally different from the early beta.

Regarding release of v1.1, we're still on schedule for end of Q1 or beginning of Q2.

All I can say is that there will be a new PRO for-pay version as well as big improvements in the FREE version.
