Accents works perfectly here with this release , you could try a reinstall to see if it gets "better".

I'm just saying that they will still make changes to the program before it is released and fix it went it is released as they fixed Chrome 4 when it came out that's all! Because it's works prefect on 10.10! Also what is SOL? Two meanings ~ Snipped as per TOS ~ of Luck or SafeOnline :D ROFL

    Sorry just a little joke!!

Same here on Windows 7 64 Bit. The previous version has to be uninstalled to get 3.0.5.74 installed.

I'm still waiting this new release for autoupdating. What can I do?
First option: installing this version over the top
Second option: waiting for the autoupdate mechanism

    Which way could I take?
    Thanks a lot.

Edit: I've win xp 32 bit

Why the autoupdate does not work well?

    Hi all!!

I'm new here so pls be sympathetic...LOL!

I have TWO questions for you about your last release of PREVX 3:

    1) a couple of days ago I had installed your previous release of PREVX SAFEONLINE from here:

    http://www.prevx.com/safebook.asp?r...6907-4A66-A5EB-D78304C0E199&tr=4367&pn=routes

So the question is: What's the difference between PREVX SAFE ONLINE and this last version of PREVX 3.0??

Can PREVX SAFE ONLINE be considered just as a module of PREVX 3.0 so that it can be replaced with PREVX 3.0??

    2) since yesterday I've no longer been able to install both PREVX versions on my FIREFOX browser as whenever I boot windows I got an error message from PREVX (something like: Ind: Mod 3.0.5.7 - Offset:0002568:cool: warning me to close the application following an error occurred during the installation of the installer.

But, to make things worse, I can't even uninstall it and then try to reinstall it on my system as PREVX doesn't appear on the REVO UNINSTALLER panel applet.

Any idea what has caused this problem and how I can solve this annoying issue so as to start using your great tool??

Just wait for PrevxHelp he will get you sorted because I'm not sure if the removal tool will work with this version? And of course it's the weekend so he might drop by! ;)

I experienced a similar problem and had to do a full removal of Prevx before I was able to install the new version. I too was unable to uninstall Prevx using the supplied uninstaller, which was crashing. Fortunately I had done a monitored install of Prevx using Total Uninstall and Total Uninstall was able to completely remove Prevx from the machine after which I was able to install the new version.

While I realise this does not help solve the problem in your case, I wanted you to know you're not alone in experiencing this issue. I agree with Triple Helix that you should wait for PrevxHelp to advise on how best to clean up your system. After complete removal of Prevx you should be able to install the new version. I must say this is the first time I've seen a Prevx upgrade go so badly wrong; they're normally unobtrusive and just happen automatically in the background.

    Regards
