process detailed log need for xp

a task manager alternative ,with an export feature need

i need a task manager alternative
i need a program that can export a detailed log about processes like cpu useage, files opened , ram consuming

i tried process explorer 11.33 i can save a text but it's not an export

i tried taskinfo but but it can not export


i would like a program like proces explorer , run , and record a log

is there one?

Hi Mantra,

I'm not sure whether I understand you right, but I think that TaskInfo can do it. I've just created an .htm file by clicking in TaskInfo:
File > Save To File > Save Panes to HTML file
(at the right side, in the System Pane, I had also choosen "All Open Files".

But maybe that is not what you wanted (as I said, maybe I misunderstood you). If you like to do it with TaskInfo, you can always ask Igor at the TaskInfo forum:

do you know i would like to have a task manager that i start and monitor for example my pc for 15 minutes , and save a report of the 15 minutes.

 

Appears ProcessHacker may be able to do this as well.

System Explorer. In:
Tools > History
Main > Save List o File

If in 'History' tab 'Save history to file' is checked, you find the file 'actionHistory.log" in %allusersprofile%\Application Data\SystemExplorer

but are you able to monitor 5 minutes and save the report of 5 minutes?

to me it doesn't save cpu , ram and so on
save only a list

 

You can start the log; 5 min. later you can save the log.

It monitors actions (processes, connections, events and files); it doesn't save cpu/ram changes at all. For that you need to compare the first list in process tab and 5 min. later the second list. You need to do something...

 

Have you ever looked at 'Greyware Automation Products'. I use couple of their programs. One such program is 'System Change Log'. The System Change Log service monitors your disks for changes, and records a detailed log of file activity separate from the regular NT event logs. You can read more
