I have one question, i am now using OA++ but since i receive this license i would like to know wich one is lightest to use, in other words wich one makes your computer start faster and faster response OA++ or DefenseWall v3?
    Thank you

I used to OA (not ++ version with AV) and IMHO DW is much lighter than OA. Also OA slow down my system start, DW doesn't.

    It depends on you...
I use AV (Dr.CureIt!) only as on-demand scanner - once per few months - but I do not install as trusted software from unsafe sources and I trust only legitimate vendors.
AV is good option if you are torrent user because AV gives you Detection, while DW offers Prevention. AV alerts you eg that in this file which you've downloaded can be a virus/malware/etc, but keep in mind AV can gives you also FP.

DW doesn't allow to any malware (so far - because there is no software which offers 100% protection against new threats) to infect your system unless you run it as Trusted.

It is always better to have protection based-on layers than only one security software. You should know that the optimal security layer configuration is:
    1. Prevention (Sandboxes, Virtualization software, software based-on sandbox policy, DEP, SRP, UAC, LUA, etc)
    2. Detection (AV/AM/AS software)
    3. Cure (backup data and image backup software)

The most important layer is of course Prevention.

    Also have a look here:

It is my article about AV in these days - it's google translation so the quality of this translation can be poor.
There are also few links at the bottom to english sites.

One of the FWs makes me unable to login on Dragonica (a free MMO), works when I disable, think it was Inbound. Also, with DefenseWall enabled, Dragonica just crashes randomly.

Here's an idea for everyone that didn't win:

Purchase a license so Ilya can keep up the excellent work! After all developers have to eat too. ;)

Try to add it into the untrusted list. If still no work- let me know, I'll think some.
