An italian user with this SafeOnline FB version said that SOL have 2 different behaviors on visit the FileHippo page
If you go to filehippo normaly the prevx logo i green, if you go on it using Updatechecker (usefool tool by filehippo that help to set every program updated) the prevx logo is blue. This using FireFox
You can see the problem here http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/showpost.php?p=30777182&postcount=2038
I don't know if this behavior afected Prevx safeonline too or is only in this faceBook version.
Even going on a forum page using the email notification in Thunderbird he had the same strange behaviour, blue icon and not green icon.
I can't replicate it 'cause I only use Chrome at the moment not supported yet.
    Thanks

Not completely sure what would cause this but we'll be investigating it shortly :)

    Thanks for the information!

You do not need to activate the license - it comes pre-shipped with the trial license key so you're good to go :)

I'm currently unaware of an end-date at the moment.

You should be able to, but if we do stop the promotion, likely any new download will not receive the free protection. It also might be worth downloading it directly from the Prevx/Facebook website so that you always get the newest version :)

    Hi:)
I noticed that if I open a link from any Web site with the left mouse button... thesafeonline is green .....
instead if I open the same links with the right mouse button and select to open in another window, the safeonline is blue. It's normal?
    Thanks:)

Is it me or that whatever site I add to SafeOnline doesn't open anymore. I need to refresh around 15 times to get it to load?! This problem seems to happen even when the site isn't protected. When I turn it off and restart the browser, everything comes back to normal. Is there a bug or what?:doubt:

Could you try sending us another scan log to report@prevxresearch.com to see if there is a determination-based fix we can make?

    Thanks!

Could you let me know what web browser + operating system you're using? This could be an issue handling the browser notifications, but if you refresh the page, you should be able to trigger it to be updated to the green status.

    Thanks! :)

Same thing happens here. On right click SafeOnLine turns blue. Opera Browser v10.10 build 1893. Windows XP SP3....If I refresh the page it still remains Blue. Same thing happens in IE8.

    .
Yes! I just logged into Facebook, did a search for Prevx and found the correct download page. It combines the demo mode of Prevx (detection without cleaning) with SafeOnline - very nice offer, thanks!

I just wish that you made SafeOnline Promo built-into PrevX CSI FREE so that I would have FREE MALWARE SCANNING and PAID SAFE ONLINE functionality.

You can accomplish that by uninstalling your current version and then install the Facebook version.

    For Joe
Several italian SafeOnLine FB version users said to me that in case of a malware (for example a simple keygen find on the net) they don't receive a warning popup from Prevx realtime but only prevx icon on the tray become red
This appens for sure on Xp 32bit Sp3, I have Prevx RC on my pc so I can't replicate

This is true - the Facebook version has some key differences as to how it functions. You may want to take a look at this thread to further clarify it :) https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=266082

Let me know if you (or any of the users you speak with, of course :D) have any questions!

Not currently, but we're working on adding support for the Flock browser as well as a number of other browsers like Safari, Iron, and Avant.

This support should be added in one of the next releases so keep in touch! :)

another question for "patient Joe" :D
an italian user with PSO FaceBook version ask me this about the license

if he buy the normal prevx (without SafeOnline protection) I can put this license over the SOL FaceBook? and if yes the final result is having a Prevx (or SafeOnline) Max protection or not?
    Thanks for the info

It "should" combine the license functionality, but if it doesn't, have him write in and we'll fix his license key :)
