    Hello ESS666,

Are you able to copy and paste the information from the log into a post here on the forums? Having a look at the log could shed some light on the issue.

    Thank you,
    Richard

    Hello,

In your original message, I noticed it said the computer was running Microsoft Windows XP, but screen shot you provided looks similar (but not identical) to Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Are you using a third-party program to "skin" Windows XP?

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

It seems that you not install ESS correctly... I have never had these or similar problems...

We'd need to get a SysInspector log from the problematic machine. Do you use 32 or 64-bit Windows 7 ?

    Hi ESS474,

See if uninstalling "a-squared free 4.5" might help.

Also, has the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts been changed from the default value?

ESS is not compatible with a-squared free? this not has real time protection.

I only have problems with the display of network connections because even after receiving notification that ESET GUI needs to close I click OK, and he works both as the gui.exe and ekrn.exe are active.

Was the limit of concurrent TCP connections ever changed from the default value of 10?
