I recently rebooted our server (SBS 2003) after applying some Windows Updates. These were all the applicable updates up until December. After the reboot, the Eset HTTP server service will not start. All other services on the server are running fine (IIS, Exchange, SQL). The exact error I get when I try to start it is:

"The ESET HTTP Server service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service."

    Any suggestions?

By the way we're using ESET 4 clients, Server version is 3.1.11.

UPDATE: Restarting IIS resolved the issue.

I have the same scenario. Did updates on the server, rebooted, ESET HTTP wont start. Tried restarting IIS and no luck. Anyone know what's up?

Same problem here, if you find out anything from ESET, would you post it?

I've also opened a support ticket with ESET.

You may call Microsoft PC Safety since you have recently applied updates.

On a stand-alone machine the ESET Server Service is by default, set at Service stopped, startup type, manual, this may be manually adjusted to suit your requirements via the Services Applet services.msc
