For people who don't like to many 3rd party apps running on their OS. a good option is yoggie gatekeeper http://www.yoggie.com/Gatekeeper-Pico-Pro This will be part of my W7 64bit setup you won't even need windows firewall running.

Interesting little gizmo! Has anyone ever tested it thoroughly? The only reviews I can find stop with the EICAR test virus. Obviously it has web-filtering, but I'm wondering how well it would hold up against some of todays 'moving targets', specifically the ever-changing breed of rogues.

Sounds interesting but it lists that it supports 32-bit XP and Vista. Also, will you have to pay yearly fees to keep Kaspersky or others apps up to date?

Yea I just noticed that it is 32bit, but I remember reading some where on the site that they will soon make a windows 7 64bit. They will have to any way if they want to make any sales.

It is more of a firewall which prevents malware from getting in the first place. all incoming traffic is scanned with Kaspersky antivirus. It has web filtering so you wont need ad blocking software on your pc. It uses Snort for Intrusion Detection System, much more effective than 3rd party firewalls installed on your pc. A VPN client so you wont need any VPN software installed on your pc.
