Instant Messenger scan

    Hello.

    Can ESET Smart Security 4 scan Instant Messenger for virus (like: Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ) ? :rolleyes:

    Hello,

    The real-time scanner will scan any file that is downloaded through an instant messenger. Any time a file is created, opened, or modified, the ESET software scans it before it can be executed.

    Thank you for your answer.
    So it means that ESET Smart Security 4 has Instant Messenger Anti Virus, right ? o_O

    You can add addtional parameters, yet, they are optional, I use them, if you swap files with your Instant Message buddies.
    Please do yourself a favour and uninstall ICQ !!!
