Utorrent is better than all of the specified ones. I used limewire earlier but now utorrent is the main torrenting application.
Is Ares really good? Did you use FrostWire and can compare them? I was thinking in installing Ares to give it a try.
The same as everyone else it seems - uTorrent. BTW are P2Ps still in use? Previously used Limewire and Bearshare but not anymore.
This poll wouldn't be here if they weren't P2P won't ever go away, not so long as there are people out there smart enough to circumvent any blocks and determined to download and share.
Will never infest my PCs with those things. Standard downloads from legit sites have always worked perfectly for me.
Its actually a dynamic and efficient way to share and download files and although I do not steal software, movies, music etc I do use the BitTorrent client to download (for the most part) virtual machine and linux torrents from legit places that only offer their files this way.
I don't know how Frostwire compares to Ares, but Limewire kinda sucks compared to Ares Ares seems to have more files/songs, more variety.
Linux here, using the default transmission at the moment, but usually install Deluge, which is also available for windows: http://deluge-torrent.org/
Well, right now I'm using none. Frostwire started to ~ Snipped as per TOS ~ with its slow startup time and uTorrent is rarely useful, so I decided to not maintain it installed.
