Hi,this the 64 bit 'version' of that famous thread ;),let me start with mine :

    Nod32 Antivirus 64 Bit v4.0.667
    Outpot Pro Firewall 2009 64 Bit v6.7.1.2983
    Prevx 64 Bit v3.0.5.40
Vmware Workstation 7(xp 32 bit testing lab :D)
Running on : Windows XP SP2 Pro 64 Bit

well for 64 bit it's quite limited :(,screw microsoft on patchguard monopoly,i wanted to try shadowdefense, any other good product for 64 bit environment?

For 64-bit - Avast 5 and Comodo Firewall with Defense +.

In addition - MBAM, a-squared free

Unfortunately 64-bit apps are still hard to come by!

there is 200 pages in that thread,it's very hard to differentiate between 32 and 64,even tough using the search sometimes people use word "64bit"/"64 bit"/"64" term to define 64 bit, sometime forum search just missed the search :(,so this thread could easier to specified platform,i know that 64 bit user still minority but it will soon up  ,and people have limited time than just go through all of the 200 pages  ,by this the 64 bit minority people would be easier to more focus on building up their own security platform

are you in 64 bit?why throw out nod?what's so great with avast5?any HIPSo_O

Just went back to Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, for some reason I see strange issues when mixing security software in 64 bit. I just did a clean install and decided to keep it simple.

KIS is not 64bit. And that's what this thread is about.

Well on x64, security list can be short on Vista, so this thread should not get as popular as the ORIGINAL IMO

All came with the OS (Vistax64 Home Premium)
    - Windows FW 2-way
    - UAC
    - Sully's excellent Pretty Good Security for a deny execute SRP on user space and elevation capture of predefined internet facing programs (running as basic user)

    Freebies
    - Norton's UAC Tool
    - Keyscrambler free for IE8 (IE8 offcourse running with lowest rights, and download to a specific directory)

    On demand
    - Hitman Pro (with right click context menu check enabled)
    - A LUA dodgy browsing User with ACL restrictions on Registry and Folders (this can be started through PsExec from the Admin UAC account)

    Cheers

I just thought the OP wanted a list of what people are using on a 64bit OS. My mistake. I didn't think NOD32 was a pure 64 bit program either though.
