This is fine - the session is actually still protected, the tab just can't be rendered properly in the graphically different window of the application shortcut in Chrome.

Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

Could you try changing configuration from Maximum down to High in SafeOnline? You may need to reboot your PC in between, but this should correct your printer functionality.

Still same problem, even tried printing from a random HTTP site that would be set as LOW/blue in SafeOnline (and after reboot). Also seem to have same problem in IE. Everything prints fine if I disable SafeOnline and reboot.

On medium and high settings with Safeonline I'm still gettting constant crashes in my webbrowser with any kind of flash movies (incl. Youtube).

    I'm using Prevx x64 3.0.5.40 with Safeonline on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with IE8.

Joe, why have you chosen to not update 3.0.1.65 customers, of which I am still one? I don't get it... the release is official but it's not? I look forward to using a new version, but after one or two RC's, I lost my zest for testing. I'm all for being sure that a release is ready for prime-time, but if 3.0.5.40 is not, why is it official? Maybe it's the jargon I'm having trouble with... :doubt:

yes, this fixed it, but that is not the point. prevx detects that firefox is using a proxy and when I agree to disable it, it removes the proxy setting from IE.

It should remove the setting from firefox though.

flash is still unusable in Firefox, works for 30 seconds, freezes for a few minutes.

And probably most important whether I disable just SafeOnline or prevx flash still has these issues.

Might be something on your end, the 2 computers I have on are able to use flash fine.

Never said you were the only one. Just saying it has to be a conflict somewhere otherwise it would effect EVERYONE. Not just a few

    Hello all,
We've reproduced some of the Firefox + x64 + Flash issues and will have them corrected in the next build. The problem lies in the browser memory protection, causing Prevx to block some components of flash from being able to access the browser, resulting in the lock up.

Let me know if you have any other thoughts on this! I'll post a link to the beta download as soon as we have it ready.

Prevx will not currently edit Firefox proxy settings - it would appear that it is detecting IE's proxy setting and then removing it from there (it checks for any IE proxy when any browser is used).

We will be adding Firefox proxy identification in the near future, which should correct the behavior you're experiencing :)

The main reason why we haven't updated the v3.0.1.65 users en-masse is that we don't have any mandatory reason to do so. The newer v3.0.5.x builds have been changing relatively frequently, now that they contain the SafeOnline code as well, and we're waiting until a longer period of no changes before we push out the update, primarily just to minimize risk because the v3.0.1.65 release has been out and stable for more than 8 months so far.

I don't use Firefox, I use IE8 and also have flash problems.

The reason you stated also applies to IE8?

Yes, it appears that in some cases this can happen in IE8 as well. The issue lies around audiodg.exe which needs some limited access within the browser process that Prevx doesn't grant by default (for security reasons, to prevent malware from injecting code).
