Yes, I'm also experiencing the same problem. :(

I'm using IE8 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with Prevx 3.0.5.40 with SafeOnline.

I hope it gets fixed soon...

I think I'm having the same issue with firefox and IE, I don't see the safeonline tab in either browsers.

Question, If you installed Prevx 3.0.5.40 do you need to install Safeonline separately for it to work?

forgive me, I'm having one of those moments. Seems like rebooting after the install of Prevx 3.0.5.40 fixed the issue. :ouch:

    Hi Joe,
I have also noticed a problem with IntelliType Pro and IntelliPoint (using MS Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 and MS Wireless Laser Mouse 5000). Random features like horizontal scrolling and volume control stop working.

Setup: windows 7 home premium 32bit
    UAC set to max
    working as (restricted) user

I still got the issue with safeonline, while a https site is open in firefox (edit or IE ) I cannot enter the password in the UAC dialog to install some software. I have to close firefox to proceed.

Am I the only one with this issue?

    Tolomir
(also installed: acronis trueimage 2010, gdata internet security 2010)

    another issue.

Firefox, surfing with a Proxy. Prevx asks if it should remove that proxy setting. When I say yes, the proxy setting from internet explorer is removed.

When I reopen firefox, it asks if it should remove an empty proxy setting, but of cause the proxy setting in firefox still exists.

So prevx cannot distinguish between these 2 browsers.

I am having a problem with anything to do with flash, the browser just freezes ( explorer8 ) win 7 64 bit.
I have re booted the computer but same problem. I guess this is a problem that support will fix very soon.

Also running Prevx w/ SafeOnline on WIN7 64 bit and Opera 10.10. What problems are you seeing with Opera? I see the Prevx tab, which for now doesn't work correctly for now but, I don't have to disable SafeOnline to use Opera.

Ah, but if Firefox is running and then load Opera, Opera will totally hang on Youtube (Opera not respond anymore). I have exit Firefox and load Opera first, if I want to use Opera browser but then if I load Firefox, then Firefox hang on Youtube. :(

I and my wife, we use different browsers, so SafeOnline is totally useless now.

:doubt: Is this on a 64bit PC or a 32bit one? If you could please try sending a scan log to report@prevxresearch.com, there may be something we can change within our database to correct this behavior.

    Thanks! :)

We've still chosen to not update v3.0.1.65 customers but they can still be upgraded manually if needed.

We've made some changes from previous reports - could you try running another scan and see if this works properly? It appears to be working now for me on Win7 x64 IE8.

    Thanks! :)

Could you try clicking "Cancel" and then "Yes" to allow the proxy setting within Prevx? I suspect you have a legitimate proxy set up so it might be necessary to allow the proxy to exist within Prevx. They should probably be using the same proxy settings so you should be able to centrally allow them within Prevx.

Let me know if that fixes it!

We've had a few other reports of this as well and are currently working to correct it. As a temporary fix, you should be able to click Stop Protection to get around the issue, but we will definitely have this corrected as soon as possible.

    Thanks for your patience :)

Not yet - we still have quite a while before we will be releasing v4.0 to beta and we're still actively improving 3.0/SafeOnline :)

This should hopefully be fixed now - if anyone who is currently experiencing it could try again, I suspect it will be working properly :)

Not had a problem with Flash since about 6 hours ago now. Using Win 7 64-bit with SafeOnline enabled.
The one problem I do have is printing from Firefox as I get an "Unexpected printer error" when SafeOnline is enabled. Will do some more testing when I have time.
