It was previously a lot more. The Daisy machine makes it less and less, so I read.

  2. Tomorrow mods will have CIS 4. :)

Then information and screen shots will be posted on the forums.

well the last thing i remember about Comodo's AV is they have some definition file issues with size, download time and connection, not sure if they still do.

I like the current Green/Blue/White color scheme more than the red.

I think Returnil was the first virtualization app with an AV engine.
The first suite with sandboxing was KIS, maybe Norman, depends on how you look at it.

CIS4 sandboxes only untrusted apps and has no integrated virtualization, only optional with CTM.
Currently a lot of fuss about little. Maybe more to come (in both senses of the phrase).

    Cheers

I'm not overly impressed by the new look tbh,it seems to me that some of the best looking GUIs are in the rogue AMs nowadays.

That's the really sad part. Rogues are putting more work into there "Fake" AV then some vendors are, It's getting stupid.

I see that Comodo has backed off from being the first to use virtualization, although the thread at https://forums.comodo.com/beta_corn...be_released-t42723.0.html;msg348029#msg348029 is now restricted to registered members. But the latest claim "Noone has utilised virtualisation to provide Prevention as the first line of defense and use Virtualisation and AV to almost eliminate alerts that prevention based systems suffer from" sure sounds a lot like what Vlk is espousing with Avast! 5. And some of the other programs mentioned here? Maybe if you narrow things down enough they are the first to do something o_O But isn't it more important to claim to do it well than to claim to do it first?

So they claimed that they are the first company that uses virtualization for antivirus detection and prevention? Huh? Who said that?
