hi, why not to make a 64 bit clone of DW from scratch that relies upon MS protection mechanisms just like geswall. You have a good chance as development of geswall is stagnant.

No, doesn't work. Still get the same message. This has happened to me before, i thought it was due to the private beta testers discussing something. It got fixed after a day or two. but its back again.

EDIT: Guys it works now thanks.

Yep, but multi core PC's the slowest part is your hard disk and disk I/O is even leaner, so incredible protection versus user interaction/system load ratio.

Well, when testing the private beta it felt as a release candidate, no wonder the public beta feels like a finished product.

If it's happened before it can relate to negative dns cache entries and how they are stored.

I hope that Stem tests this firewall out and gives his views.

Yes, it's possible. But not right now. And, BTW, it's "whitelisting" too.

sigh. scrolled through the 90+ posts and didn't learn helluva lot.

Firewall. I had read across the months that the new DW version would include a firewall.
No screenshots here. I'm hoping to find screenshots of the firewall rules creation interface.

Hi Mom {wave} lookit me! Lookit! I'm on the internet, arguing like an idiot! 110111!!!!

    the view from here:
Netbooks are the hot selling category this season. (WindowsXP)

laptops: Many kids are asking for Apple & only wind up "settling for" a Win7 laptop if mommy/daddy won't, or can't, shell out $1200+ for the Apple.

I skipped Vista altogether (ZERO perceived benefit and mucho perceived frustration) & will not consider WinNT6.1 (aka Win7) at least until SP1. My loss? Shrug. I doubt most of of my apps even benefit from "Dual Core" presence in my current PC.

The Apple statement did make me laugh so ill give you that. Tho I would feel sorry if they did get a Apple, As apple's go bad after a wile start turning brown and squishy.

Btw if you want screenshots of the program take 10 min install it set it up and look for your self. Its faster then writing a post complaining there is no screenshots. :cautious:
