    1. Can Backup and Recovery 10 Free peacefully co-exist with Acronis True Image 9, in Windows 2000?
    2. Can Backup and Recovery 10 Free peacefully co-exist with Acronis True Image 11, in Vista.
    3. Can Backup and Recovery 10 Free peacefully co-exist with Acronis True Image 2010, in Windows 7?
    4. Can Partition Manager 10 Personal peacefully co-exist with Acronis Disk Director 10, in Vista.
    5. Can Partition Manager 10 Personal peacefully co-exist with Acronis Disk Director 11 in Win 7. Since ADD 111 does not yet exist, this quetion is directed to your local crystal ball.

Peacefull co-existence is necessary to easily test the Paragon products.

I've read several things about this in different places and the general conclusion is always that it's not wise to install multiple backup programs on the same computer. The reason is because many backup programs make use of the same build-in Microsoft api's/services/processes (such as VSS), and thus a situation might occur that conflicts arise because they are all competing for access.

    Likely so,
Ghost 10 and Acronis TI 9 did conflict.

But the restriction is on a per installed OS, i.e., OS partition basis, not per computer.

That's why I installed Paragon in a different OS on my multiboot system, but, to use polite chess terminology, it's a pain in the back rank to switch to another OS just to test.
