Just thought I'd make one final post on Wilders regarding my security setup:

    AntiVir Free

Sandboxie Paid (only on my pc)

PCTools Firewall (only on the laptop)

    _______________

This setup is duplicated across all pc's on our network.

By having fewer security apps, everyone can get work done without nags / slow down caused by security software. (I've removed the AntiVir nag screen)

It seems the days of HIPS and personal firewalls / leaktests are over for me...

Edit: In a way the programs of old such as Sygate and Prevx Home have faded away and replaced by bloated, memory hungry, fuzzy, cloud-based, black box like solutions. That is, we are told, is the way of the future. Goodbye Wilders.

I have a hardware SPI/NAT firewall in my router.

Hence there is no software firewall on the desktop pc other than the windows firewall.

A software firewall is necessary on the laptop though because often I use it on company and public wireless networks.

I am sure there is plenty of security software to play with out there, but when it interfers with your productivity, it has to go!

Impressive. I am also impressed with Shadow Defender and Google Chrome.
I have noticed some FP's though but I don't care that much since overall it has given me a very good impression, speedy and light on system resources, no headaches for the time being and giving me decent protection along the way.

I must admit though that Panda Cloud looks also very promising.
