I am using F-Secure right now, it's a lot lighter than it used to be, and the interface is just awesome :D Clean and logically structured, only a lack of settings but i dont care since it's doing a good job

    glad you guys liked it^^

I m thinking of getting 1 key ,but , considering it's a multiengine antivirus (in AV comparative's performance test came last), wouldn't it slow down the PC a lot? I mean, just by multiscanning?

Then tomorrow there is A2 Antimalware. And while i am happy with Avast.

So many choices... it's almost a torment... :D

P.S.: That is by far the weirdest way i 've seen for giving away keys.

I've been using FS 2010 for a few months now and I am quite pleased with it. The performance test just shows the scan speed for manual and scheduled scans which is irrelevant if your machine is clean to start with. What I like most about this product is the alerts are very clear, but informative, and Deepguard seems to work really well. Also, I have found F-Secures response to submitted samples to be rather quick in terms of analysis and updates. A2 is awesome at detection but requires more interaction between me and the AV than I am willing to deal with. I have found that A2 has caused more system drag on my laptops than FS but would be a great product for a technical user's desktop.

I gave it a shot. Although i am afraid i might have done some mistake during the upload. I am not sure i got the procedure right. :ninja: There were 2 upload buttons in german and was too lazy to translate them, so i pressed them at random in 2 attempts.

The only mail i have received until now is the usual african tycoon that wants to transfer to my bank account half a million dollars and someone trying to sell me Viagra at 75% discount. (By the time i will need it, it will have expired, so he has no luck there!).

Well, if it doesn't arrive, i will have to live with Avast and Emsisoft, big deal.

Anyone have more info about DeepGuard? FWIU it looks like version 1 was a behavior blocker while version 2 added cloud tech to the behavior blocking. Is that a fair statement?

That's a fair statement. It's similar to what Prevx does...cloud/community-based behavior analysis and response system (I just made that up but it sounds pretty good).

I sent a picture of a landscape (without a single life form visible) and just received my key. Well, at least it was a nice picture! :D

Oh, not another who wants to suck my upload bandwidth!

I think will wait until tomorrow with A2 Anti-Malware and then flip a coin. :D
