i didn't knew about FD until i was searching for some discussion on RB-RX here at www.wilderssecurity.com ,. The Original FD did work pretty much like Rescue does, but that was during its hay days ,although i didn't use it so i m making a guess, from their FD-ISR had many transistion like:
    • FD-ISR Professional v1.05.166
    • FD-ISR Professional v3.20
    • FD-ISR Professional v3.21
    • FD-ISR Professional v3.31
    • FD-ISR Professional v3.32
correct me if i m wrong:
    It was a gradual evolution:
Eazyfix or RB is released by different distributor n still their is no change in its functionality and performance. Then howcome Horizondata stripe of what is now glorious FD-ISR Professional v3.32 n bring down to its knees n give it a new n useless GUI n WITH LESS OPTION. ie., imo
    Edited:
Last time i did a Registry Scan and deleted some old Registry , on the next reboot: my Primary didn't boot to Desktop but i had the Secondary:frm their i did Restore of the Primary.....how efficient is that . I hvn't used any Image Backup to Restore my C:for 4 months:

Pinso, you need to read my post about assumptions. You are asking a question about why Horizon Data sys did something. But there are no facts on who actually did what, only assumptions.

Unfortunately, FD-ISR Pro does not support SSD's. Todd said he would look into this sometime after he finished a product he was working on in July. We have heard nothing since.

I switched back to RollbackRx 3 months ago after setting up my system drive with Win7 64 bit, 2 Intel X25-E SSD's as Sata 0 drives and, so far, I have had no problems with Rollback. I use ShadowProtect incrementals which backup to a third X25-M very quickly in case of a problem or I want to go back further than the Rollback snapshots.

The SSD's provide a tremendous speed increase and the combo above is the best I have ever experienced.

Without speculation the Leapfrog site still exists & says nothing about discontinuing the product. Horizon's forum says that FDISR is soon to achieve EOL status. They indicate that they sell 500 Rollback to 1 FDisr. There is then a bunch of reasons given for using Rollback over the FDISR version. It is possible that we will hear from the developer soon as to the status of the Leapfrog product which is the Old version or future plans for the product.

FD-ISR Authentic Genuine version still excells!!!!!!!!!

........for those fortunate to have got in on those versions while it was still in Leapfrog's possession only.

I just finished putting FD on my Intel X-25M. Everything working just fine, NO problem. I think it is NOT the case that FD does not work on SSD's, but that it does not work in some certain cases.
If you detail your problems with installing FD, I can probably provide some feed back.

I am confident that Todd will check in on the Status of everything.

He is a total gentleman and obviously still very dedicated to FD-ISR which has been proven by his generous updates and assistance to all of us.

Based on some comments in other posts, it sounds like he is head over heels into some other project right now.

I'm not quite ready to make the switch to Win7, but when I am, hopefully I won't have to delete partitions or do anything else to make it work.

While you may not like what you heard, fact of the matter is we have already heard.
