dchpserv.exe, comp hang

    need help, computer hang when scanning the abovemention file, using v3 eset

    Or send the file in question to samples at eset dot com so ESET can determine what happen when scanning such file.

    regarding dchserv.exe, strange cant find it in C/WINDOWS/dchpserv.exe
    had a file search but cant locate it, today did a scan and it hang when it reached the above directory. is it better to reload windows anyone can advise, thanks

    No such file exists Sir.It would be dhcpcsvc.dll if you have this dchpserv.exe file on your computer " perhaps " it is a virus or from 3rd party software.

    If it's not present in the hard disk, then it can be a rootkit.
    Please create a log with SysInspector and send it to ESET.
