I use ESS v.4., Win XP Pro., LUA, KAFU, SRP, DEP.
I have a scheduled scan set to run every Sunday night.
I normally run the scan under the LUA. I hardly ever log on to the administrator account.

When ESS scans on the LUA, does it scan all the files on the computer including the Administrator account?
Can it also remove viruses on all the accounts?
Is it better that I run the scans using the Administrator account?

    Other security software:
    Sandboxie free.
    Malwarebytes Antimalware Ondemand scan.
    Superantispyware free Ondemand scan.
    CCleaner.
NAT Router/ SPI Firewall on modem.

    Thanks,
    Danny.

Scans are run in the account of the current user so no, folders without read permissions won't be scanned. However, scheduled scans are run in the LSA so they should scan virtually all files.

    Thanks Marcos,
I normally only run the scheduled scans; so then most of the files will be scanned.

Just curious what does LSA mean?
I am not a computer expert. I search this forum and learn a lot of information. This is the forum where I learned about LUA, KAFU, SRP, DEP etc.
If I understand, the LUA prevents viruses from spreading on the computer and to the other accounts. So If by chance I get a virus, it can't reach the system files nor the administrator account. So there should really never be a virus on the administrator account.

    Thanks, Danny.

Thanks. I will search for SuRun. I remember reading about it some where.
    Is it easy to use?

    Thanks, Danny.
