DiskCryptor experiences?

Not yet, but I plan to encrypt my laptop system disk with DiskCryptor after installing Windows 7 RTM next month. I've read a lot of the documentation on the website and the developer sounds knowledgeable, plus there is a plugin for Bart PE so you can create a rescue boot CD. If you try it please post again and give us a report.

 

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and DC is working fine. It took about 3 hrs. or so for this 250GB drive to encrypt.

Thanks! By the way, was a plugin for BartPE included when you installed DiskCryptor?

 

Yes, BartPE plugin is put into the subfolder of an installation folder.

 

I used DiskCryptor two days ago to encrypt my netbook, and I am really happy with it. There are no performance impacts who would slow down everything - this is at least my experience.
